What is lovely about this cuisine is that it has reached to a lot of parts of the world where people have grown to love it even more. 1) Hikari Sushi Bar
This was opened only some days before the lockdown occurred in the city. It’s situated in the North of Pape Station. The have great daily bowl specials, but apart from that, they also have some wonderful house rolls and hosomaki.

2) Aburi Hana
Yorkville has a new adding to itself when it comes to great food. This restaurant is dedicated to modern Kyo-Kaiseki cuisine. They have two 15 course menus that change nightly with seats that are only available on reservation.

3) Muni Robata
The main attraction of this place is the open flame Robata grill, but the sushi is unparalleled as well. There is Shashmi, nigiri and tasty maki rolls which will only make you crave for more!

4) Tatsu Sushi
This restaurant which is near Trinity Bellwoods Park is great at serving combos. The menu here has plenty of amazing Japanese food to hog on, from sushi, sashimi and roll sets, to party trays and daily specials that are totally mouth watering.

5) Toto Sushi
This restaurant opened in July and is now available for takeout. Their menu includes several oshi sushi options, such as pressed sushi, and combos served with miso soup and salad. Totally worth a shot, you won’t regret!
