A new toonie that captures a lot of attention has left a lot of people wondering, from where can you grab the $2 coin of Canada?
The Canadian Mint states that “that general circulation coins are starting to enter circulation, so as banks and businesses require new $2 coins, those will start to enter the market place,” hence one can rightfully consider that we can find them soon enough in our wallets.
However, one can also buy commemorative versions that have not exchanged hands before directly from the mint starting from $23, if you can’t already wait patiently for their exchange to take place.

These coins come in both colored and uncolored versions and the tiny “V” in-between is symbolic of the allies that brought the Second World War to an end, hence, it’s an inspiring and very nationalistic and patriotic addition to any wallet. We hope to grab them soon enough!
