Sauble beach, the world’s second longest freshwater beach hosts long sunny days and starry nights & is located in the town of South Bruce Peninsula along the eastern shore of Lake Huron, in Bruce County  Ontario, Canada.

 

Things to do in Sauble Beach

Sauble Beach offers a variety of  activities. One can choose between windsurfing, fishing, canoeing and kayaking or  just Close the eyes and listen to the waves or have the eyes opened to the delightful array of shops.To end the day, you are pretty much likely to be rewarded with a breath-taking sunset, as the beach faces west. Birdwatchers also get chance to see  several species of warblers: black-throated, green, yellow-rumped and parula.

During Summers at Sauble beach, one can hike the Sauble Trail to Sauble Falls. Overhanging trees and the tiered waterfall make for a perfect capture moment. One can be overwhelmed by seeing  hundreds of vintage cars and motorcycles along Main Street every Tuesday night at classic Cruise Night.

Rent Paddle board from SUP Sauble Beach and paddle along the Lake Huron shoreline. In the summer, participate in  the fun activity at the Sauble Speedway on Saturday nights to cheer on the Thunder Cars.

 

 

Food in Sauble Beach

There are many mouth watering eateries to be visited.  Sauble Dunes will satisfy steak lovers with their Steak and Caesar Salad special. Solas Grill is known for the beachfront patio and homemade pizzas. Taste delicious burgers and fries from The Crowd Inn or Mars Fries.
